DescriptionThis pastel shows a half-length view of a woman facing right. Her eyes do not engage the viewer. The dark hair and dark eyes of the woman and her facial features are very similar to that of Mrs Shine (see Object Number 143). She is wearing a white veil pushed back, a white dress and a necklace. There is a ring on her left hand and she is also holding a bunch of red and black flowers in the same hand, which is resting on a bluish green book. She is placed against a blue background.
