DescriptionThis is a landscape painting of a cornfield. There is a woman on the right leaning over cutting the corn, while a young boy stands looking at her. A young girl is sitting against a haystack beside the woman and a little further away is a second girl, who appears to be standing beside a cradle watching a baby. The sky in the distance is a cream colour with tinges of pink and light brown. On the left stretching into the middle distance are lines of haystacks.
