DescriptionA woman kneels on the ground, her head clasped in her hands. On a bed above is the figure of a young girl lying bound in cloths. Elijah is standing by the bed looking upwards and holding his hands above the girl's head. This watercolour design is heavily stylised with thick outlines as it was intended to be a stained glass window.
The drawing is a design for the stained glass panel ‘Elijah Raising the Widow's Son’ at Kirkcaldy Old Parish Kirk, Kirkcaldy, Scotland. The window was created at Morris and Company, Merton Abbey, Surrey.
